The Dales Railcard Winter Offer is back from 3rd November 2025 until 29th March 2026, offering 50% off the cost of Off Peak Day Return tickets on the Leeds-Settle-Carlisle and Leeds-Lancaster-Morecambe lines.

Due to the closure of the level crossing on Romanby Road dalesbus.org/wensleydaleflyer 856 will be diverted in Northallerton on Sunday 2nd November.
From South Parade the bus will divert via Mill Lane & Ainderby Road to Lees Lane.
The bus stops on Boroughbridge Road will not be served.

Wensleydale Flyer bus 856 still runs every Sunday between Northallerton, Leeming Bar, Bedale, Leyburn, Aysgarth, Bainbridge and Hawes (for Wensleydale Creamery & Dales Countryside Museum).

All single fares are just £3 (£1 for under 19s; passholders free).

On Saturdays DalesBus 74 now runs between York (0820), Harrogate (0917), Otley (0950), Ilkley (1020, 1230 & 1550), Bolton Abbey, Burnsall and Grassington; returning from Grassington at 1130 & 1450 to Ilkley + at 1700 to all stops to York.

There's a revised timetable on dalesbus.org/74 between York, Harrogate, Otley, Ilkley, Bolton Abbey and Grassington from this Saturday, 25th October, to improve reliability.

The maximum single fare is still £3 (under 19s £1), with elderly/disabled passes also valid.

Due to road closures for the Yorkshire Marathon on Sunday 19th October, DalesBus 822 to Fountains Abbey, Pateley Bridge & Grassington will be diverted via Heslington on the approach to York city centre, but will still pick-up opposite York Railway Station and along Poppleton Road.
