Work is giving them tomorrow morning. I'll be in line at 6:30 AM. Hopefully I will be at my desk by my start time of 6:45.

I remember reading The Canterbury Tales in high school. We were taking turns reading it outloud, and the nun who was teaching was cackling every other line. We didn't know why until she explained the jokes.

I've had COVID twice. Once before vaccines were available and once after having the vaccine. The first time was harder than the second, but I get a very bad reaction to the mRNA vax. Nobody carries Novavax. So I can't get my boosters. I'm getting the flu shot next week.

I'm no longer Catholic, but I did read the Bible several times over through high school. I know plenty of former classmates who are still practicing, so your meme isn't correct. Just like every Christian isn't Satan warmed over. This world would be a better place if everyone stopped generalizing.

My Mom was one of our Girl Scout leaders when I was a kid. The leaders decided to take the troop to an outdoor theater to see A Chorus Line in 1978. She didn't know the storyline. She spent the entire time trying to figure out how she was going to explain homosexuality to us. We already understood.

This is flat out, not true. There are people who will do what is right in some (not necessarily all) cases. There are people who will do wrong in some (not necessarily all) cases. Religiously and Spirituality have nothing to do with it.

I am not the important one in this situation, so if someone has communicated to me that they dont find comfort in God, I comfort them in another way. If I know they need to find comfort in God, I will do what they need.

The problem is: Most of the people writing this crud are hoping that the families and friends see it. They have no compassion for anyone but themselves and those like them. Just like the OTHER SIDE.

I have always written on the back of my card "check my ID." If I hand someone my card, I get a little upset inside if they don't ask. Of course, if I am running the card myself, I very rarely get asked.

The free healthcare, 6 weeks paid vacation and pension AND paid parental leave are paid for or subsidied by an almost 56% federal income tax and approx 25% local income tax. Many US citizens can't see the benefit of that level of taxation.

My mother had a brother and sister diagnosed in the late 1930s. One died at 12, the other at 14. When my nephew was diagnosed in the late '90s, Mom fully expected he would die within the year. He's 33 now. It's a recessive gene, and type 1 diabetics can have kids now.

When I was 5 (1970s), my grandmother lived in a town that was built by Monsanto for workers to live close by. I could see the plant from her house. I remember asking my Mom why Grandma's homegrown tomatoes and Oreos tasted funny. She told us that it was the chemicals from the plant.

Government officials should utilize Medicaid for US sponsored medical insurance. We hire them, we pay them, and they should live with the same policies as we do.
