It’s happening more and more for me too! Oddly I feel like we’re getting more polarized in vehicles too. I notice a lot of EVs and then more lifted pickups. You used to only rarely see those around here. I feel like there are a decent amount of folks who used to drive Subarus who want big trucks now

Ideally these driving characteristics would be far more customizable since they are software defined. I’d love a set of sliders in a menus to adjust steering, regen, and accelerator mapping to be just how I like it

That’s my preference. Nicely it’s defaulted to no creep on the Polestar and the regen is strong when set to max. Like driving in second gear, and I like that 😂. Even with the Hyundai in one pedal mode and on sport I still wish it was a bit stronger. I haven’t found a fix.

It’s frankly the only annoying thing I’ve found on our Hyundai. The Polestar just stays in one pedal mode, both forward and reverse. The IONIQ needs to be put into one pedal mode every time and it’s only in drive. It’s annoying and a little less safe that it’s not persistent, but nothing is perfect.

My Polestar stays in one pedal mode in both forward and reverse, no creep. My Hyundai IONIQ 5 needs to be put into one pedal mode every time you start it and it only works in forward. Reverse switches it off. It’s the only annoying thing I’ve found about our Hyundai.

An interesting EV trio at lunch today on this very rainy Portland afternoon. A Mercedes B Class (don’t see those often), Polestar 2 and Ioniq 5. I would say about 25% of the cars in the parking lot for Brooklyn Carreta were EVs today!
