Actually Catholic must attend Mass every Sunday, and receive the blessed sacrament if in a state of grace. If they do not attend mass without it being an extraordinary situation it is considered a sin and must be confessed in the sacrament of confession which can only be administered by a priest.

For every one Army Catholic chaplain there are 6 Protestant chaplains. Roughly 25% of our Army identify as Catholic. Only 6.5% of the Army chaplain’s are Catholic Priests; they are responsible for the sacramental needs of nearly 1 million Catholic servicemembers and their families worldwide.

Who threatened him? I do not believe for a minute that this was due to “nastiness” this man served his country in the military, he has thick skin and our military doesn’t take kindly to cowards. This is likely do to a threat received.

USA has been showing to the world that many held on to to racist supremacist views. The rest of the world would do well to take note and find a better opportunity elsewhere. Americans are over worked, stressed, & taxed far more than the rich, old infrastructure, no free healthcare. Why come here?
