Megosh begging for a treat…

he ended up with two.
Thank you! I thought it was a perfect one for the season 🎃
Never forget the damage this motherfucker has done and not a shred of remorse will ever exist.
I think I’ve shared this song before, but once is never enough for this upbeat freak.

Haunt (2019)

A fairly straightforward but effective haunted house slasher film with some mean spirited kills and really unique killers. Doesn’t reinvent the wheel but it’s fun and well crafted and perfect for spooky season.
Whatcha drinking?

And would it be better or worse if you ordered an entire series instead of just one book? Least you’d have them all 🤣
Tales of Halloween (2025)

A flawed but admirably ambitious anthology filled with seasonal spookiness. The shorts vary in tone and quality but the overall experience is perfect for this time of year.

It is an absolute mess of a narrative but the last 1/4 or so is an amazingly effective haunted house type scenario. Truly chilling stuff, but it can be a nightmare of its own just to get to that point in the story 🤣
Agree about the paranormal stories usually involving lots of cheese, lol 😬

Have you read House of Leaves? It’s paranormal and an incredibly challenging and haunting book.
The great debate of 2025.

It’s a trick question though, it’s all of them.

Favorite horror sub genre? Folk horror! Something about the supernatural and cultish bits gets me hyperventilating.

If you read horror, what's your favorite subgenre? If not, what read(s) will always remind you of October?

Folk horror is awesome but I’d say either paranormal or gimme the monsters!
Like a rat without his maze.
Hours before this he was bragging about how he supposedly aced a cognitive exam.
It’s Tuesday and you know what that means!

Fuck you, Trump, you draft-dodging, empathy-lacking, brainless, worthless piece of fucking shit. I hate you.
When Evil Lurks (2023)

One of the more visceral and nasty and truly grim and proper horror films I have seen in ages. It’s relentlessly bleak and shocking and upsetting. Recommended for only the most jaded fans of possession films.
Weapons (2025)

What a wild and batshit insane ride this one is. Great intrigue, acting and some shocking gore make it one of the best of the year for horror.
