I was the lead on a run of 30 official statues for Sonic Team. These statues were a gift for a number of artists at Sega, including Naoto Ohshima.
2. To make your mother very proud.
I've really been enjoying your videos lately. They're charming, funny, and always poignant to something deeper.
Sounds like you're not getting invited to the party on the surface of SR388.
I have a suggestion for forcing people to play a game for 4 credits.
No but for real the more games I play the more compulsion as a mechanic really bothers me. Alot of the appeal of games feels like it's just recreating the Machine Zone.
And that's fair. It is mostly just a pithy remark that Nintendo is plenty happy to let movies and animations die to obscurity. They're more than happy to use emulators in their museum so I'm just rolling my eyes that the real preservation is not as important as Ninty becoming a lifestyle company.
Youre right, I'm looking it up because an Australian company did it so it's available it's just more expensive and limited than most blue rays. Point being Nintendo is more or less rebooting it like they would a rerelease of a game on a new console.
I honestly like this parts of your videos the most. The context is way more interesting.

Hello, new MTG followers! Glad you like the Chocobo, here's another one of our sculptures for Wizards - we've made several since 2020!
So, genuine question. How is it? Is it actually doing something novel or is it more just the comfort of going back to catching some more 'mons?

When someone asks you what is a Brain Lord, show them this
There was that early ps3 game, Lair, that used motion controls. I don't think many people liked how it felt unfortunately but maybe it's just something you have to meet halfway.

I’ll be a cosplay guest & judge at a local event in Macon, Ga next year! I’ll be there both days, March 28 & 29.

Also wanted to say, I am starting to fill out and plan my cons for next year—mostly booked the early half of the year but have openings April 2026 and onwards! Plz reach out. 🫶🏻
New episode! We did not expect a massive leak just a day before launch be we still edited in a bonus segment. And honestly the leak only solidified our takes.
This week on Brainlords we ask if Game Freak deserves it! Your love? Your ire? Your pity? All of the above! With the release of ZA, a new action game in the mix, and after a big leak we discuss a company that still wants to be the indie studio it once was.

My wife loves it because as she's gotten better at magic she like having a format where you can see all the things that might be used against you beforehand. Where if you see a trick you can immediately do the same thing as well. It's helped her improve far more than any commander game.
Paw Patrol? No, I only exposed my child to landscapes you might confuse for Caspar David Friedrich paintings.
Rhetoric: [Heroic Failure] we've devoted all your available brain cells to come up with a question about video games. Scratch that, to come up with *the* question about video games. And that is:
1. (Whispers) Are they like an anime woman?
2. Oh God that's bad. Surely I can think of something better.
I had a *perfectly* lovely time doing a single Spiderman pick 2 draft at Magiccon. Do I want more sets like that? Absolutely not, I'm burnt out and tired of prioritizing content over art. But in real life I still had a good time with a good game and good people.
Those are some of my favorites! And they're so cheap to get bulk too.
I always loved these because as a logo I feel like they can be so beholden to slap it on everything, to the point where its distracting, but hiding it like that is so clever and iconic.
I went to town on the alt text with these to show you just how bonkers the level of consideration goes into even a fraction of sculptural art.
It might be cheating to pick the stuff I worked on but alot of people put hundreds of hours of physical labor around toxic chemicals to make these happen.

I'm really proud of the projects I do and I wish that people could easily look up who did SFX work like they can with illustrator credits.
