For Rae and Astarion it's a bit of both. They reside in Rae's Upper City house and often stay there for months at a time, only for them to leave it for months, travelling wherever their hearts or endeavours take them. Both of them have history in Athkatla, but it's... difficult.

I’ll start with Vasa, who grew up on Evermeet Isle before living at Hildegarde Abbey near the Moonsea. She now lives with Gale in Waterdeep but often journeys to Helm’s Hold near Neverwinter.

Fin wandered pretty aimlessly, until he met Alex, as the two became closer and Fin opened up about home, The North. He knew that he needed to return and with Alex at his side, take his rightful place as Lord once his Mother was ready to step down.

Alex isn't from Faerûn; he came from another Plane called Yaxitauri through a strange Portal on the wall in an alley. He settled in Baldur’s Gate until he met Fin. They started travelling together, beginning a new life. Today, Alex lives in the North.
