Gonna get the new Pokémon game next week.

Hope this Game gift card hasn't expired

Local GP appointments are really hard to get, and when you finally get one, it's delayed by an hour.

The NHS is in the worst state I've ever known it to be.

Seeing a lot of Starmer fans claiming that todays PMQs is a turning point and that his commanding performance will change things for the government.

These centrist losers who only see politics as pantomime are the most pathetic people out there.

Nobody cares about PMQs you clowns

For what it's worth, I've found Void Mirror to be the best hate card against them thesedays
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
I think the one ring is probably the first piece on the chopping block. It's already been banned elsewhere and gives it way too many reloads, invalidating control as an archetype really.

Would love to see the dozen or so design mistakes from MH3 go away.

Breakfast before Nadu was a good deck that won stuff whilst being exploitable, but was definitely a totally fine power level.

I won't argue that the more convoluted versions of the combo are more fun and cooler though!
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
I think it made Doomsday decks good instead of being a bad fringe deck. There are plenty of ways to play into Doomsday, they have exploitable mana, Endurance, counters, hand disruption and just beating them down to stop pass the turn lines too.

It sucks if they turn one kill you, but that's rare
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
For me, the issue with Breakfast stems from Nadu, and the issue with Oops is that it's a one card "I win the game" combo. Not the poor little merfolk's fault.

I think Doomsday existing as it does is pretty cool and good.

Imagine having voted for these scumbags, Yikes!

Red Tories need to get in the bin
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
I'm with you on the first four, but I'd keep Thoracle and Dread Return and instead hit Balustrade Spy and Undercity Informer.

It's isn't doing great now, but that's because it's horrible into UB Reanimator. When Troll got banned, Oops was by far the best deck until UB Reanimator got solved again.
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
The fact we got bans last year, suggests that we should probably get some this year as well.

From this data, it looks like Nadu, Entomb and The One Ring would be the big targets.

I'd also like to see some other stuff go including Tamiyo.

Eternal Weekend NA 2024 compared with Eternal Weekend NA 2025

-UB Reanimator had a better win rate this year and more Top 8 finishes. It also doesn't have any bad matchups unlike last year.

-UB Tempo did poorly, suggesting maybe Entomb is more of a problem than Tamiyo?

Of course Chat GPT is moving into doing porn and sex stuff.

The goal of all these tech bros who like AI is to use it to create child porn because every tech bro is a colossal danger.

I currently have an MP who is part of a government who is implemented Reform policies and empowering their rhetoric.

What's really grim, is that our government is currently to the right of Reform on several issues.

No progressive tactical vote involves Labour
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
You realize every single one of those bills was dramatically watered down from the original proposals right?
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
At college I wrote my big auteur project on Gilliam and it was the only work I did at college that I got 100% for lol

There are a lot of themes in his work, mostly around postmodernist construction of reality.

Things working out in the end is pretty mucg the opposite of his vibe tbh.
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
I bet you think GB energy is a good policy too right?
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
The economy isn't doing well because they are still doing trickle down economica that doesn't work.

Energy prices rising this month, water bills rising next year. Inequality growing.

Child poverty is increasing and their own figures for their policies show those policies will make it worse.
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
Their problem isn't their comms, it's their terrible right wing policies.

They are doing austerity again whilst staging the biggest attack on human rights we've seen since the HRA begun. The human rights Commissioner explicitly called out the UK government this week.
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
Do you think the most unpopular government of all time is going to spring back in any meaningful way?
crucibleofwords.bsky.social
UB Reanimator did better at Eternal Weekend NA 2025 than it did at Eternal Weekend NA 2024.

Pretty much everyone is going to be polling better than Labour based on current trajectory

Just rewatched 12 Monkeys and it's still great.

#filmsky
Poster for twelve monkeys. It's a picture of Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe and Brad Pitt in black and white. Willis has a red eye

It's going to be interesting seeing all the centrists who bang on about tactical voting trying to obfuscate over the fact that the Greens will be the best tactical vote in most seats by the next election
