It's not a coincidence. Wagner(not even Russia) was outright monetarily motivated to attack those fields. They actually directly profited from their capture. The indirect nature of any "profits" the US received pales in comparison to the expense.
I honestly doubt that he or hegseth will have the patience/concentration that it would take take to wage a war of conquest and occupation. GW will seem well timed with his "mission accomplished" banner by comparison.
The only parts that it controllED were Kurdish owned oil fields specifically because those were continuously attacked by isis and Wagner. You control the parts that are attacked, not the parts that are not under threat.

Probably because the launcher is big enough that it can be affected by the introduction of mechanical stresses of the overall system(misalignment of magnets and the like). A pneumatic launcher probably just over gasses a bit to overcome any "unevenness."

I don't blame you. A lot of people have. I just wouldn't treat them like a unibody with ice. Don't expect them to go against ice, but there are tactics you can do to get/force them to help in more indirect ways.

Not everyone is comfortable with being combative right now(or maybe ever). They still want to have a voice. Not every event or movement needs to go 0->60 the moment you arrive. Not every answer is a molotov.
Once you get to a protest: Are you aware of your surroundings? Are you generally aware of what the organizers are doing? Are you leaving at the pre planned time?
Again nos will increase your risk. Shit CAN happen, but generally speaking you can be safe.
Living is not risk free. So let's layout how you can limit risk.
You see a protest/march planned. Was a permit pulled? Is the grp organizing it generally calm? Is the location generally nonconfrontational? Has your town been generally calm in the past week?
I dunno, I would say that NYPD operates quite differently from random town/city initial PD. They have different triggers and tolerances. "Your cops" are different to "my cops." If you say they are all the same then you just don't understand how people or organizations work.
Fair. I should have pointed out that you should also be aware of the tensions happening in your city in the days prior. It makes sense for people in LA to be more risk aware/averse. You got that magnifying glass pointed straight at your city right now.
