almost put FFT 2nd, but some of the balance issues drop it a tick for me. still difficult for me to put stuff above XIV because of just how much nostalgia i have for ARR.

it's absolutely the most consistently quality story in the series so far, though, other than maaaybe shb.

i am still slowly playing through ffx, here are my thoughts at the middle (?) of the game:
- despite having fun whenever i play it, i am not as hyperfocused on this as i was for ff9.
- i totally get how you would play this in 2001 and go 'this is the greatest videogame of all time'

i am still slowly playing through ffx, here are my thoughts at the middle (?) of the game:

it does very much annoy me how many times this game is like 'all we can do is wait' and then you talk to everyone around you and they go 'stop being an adhd nightmare tidus and sit still' and then it turns out you actually do need to move to a cutscene trigger???
