Oh, agree. Even with better taxation of the very rich, it's one part of the giant shift happening globally. I get frustrated with the LCD pandering and jockeying to be the next majority gov vs. pushing for the actual desires of Canadians.

This doesn't ring true to me. The bulk of Canadians may need more focus from our government on economic recovery right now, but that doesn't mean we want social backslide. Hitting pause is NOT the same as hitting rewind, and a LOT of us worry we voted for ⏸️ and got ⏮️.

I'm conflicted. Nothing concrete yet, but if the motive WAS political we need to remember that democracy depends on being able to speak your mind and dissent without fear of violence. But CK undermined democracy with misinformation and hate-mongering which no doubt created unnecessary suffering.

A 60+ apartment my mother is in requires a dr note before they'll install a window unit. Over 60 and over 28°C in your apartment shouldn't require a dr to say it's a medical need. She got her AC but I worry for others.
