Reference is the Twilight New Moon movie poster, and the Tumblr post by user cockmcstuffins that goes "bella was lucky she didn't have a cell phone of any kind because you know ya boi edward would be blowing up that phone 24-7 going 'saw a snail today.... effervescent' or some shit equivalent"

今日はかたつむりを見ました。泡立つ。 (Kyō wa katatsumuri o mimashita. Awadatsu.) The title above, the word “effervescent” is translated literally to the word for like a bubbling drink, so in the case of this drawing, Caliborn saying he saw a snail foaming is a threat instead of a cute text, since snails foam up when they get salted. ((He did it to the snail.))
Also, the kanji on the salt packet is not the kanji for salt (“shio”) - it’s instead death “shi” and king “ō” just to be silly since this is Caliborn we’re talking about.
I also drew Caliborn in a Hannya mask type - which is the spurned lover oni character. And gave him an uroko/scale patterned obi since that’s associated with characters who turn monstrous. I put Jake in an archery uniform, and Dirk in a kendo uniform since Twilight takes place in a high school. I guess that places Caliborn in theatre club or something? ((I’ve been really into Japanese fashion lately and the Cairo Overcoat is the perfect design to fit on a haori.))
((Also, sorry for bringing love triangle into Dirkuu week, but I absolutely had to draw the refrance when the thought crossed my mind.))
