This is my problem with Mass Effect and why I always play as FemShep because BroShep is so meh with his dudebro body. Although both Sheps are still military (akin to ACAB). Why can't I just be a normal person who isn't shooting people dead?

I'll legit be pleased if this game turns out to be really good. I know it won't be as RPG as many want it but I'm really into games like Dishonored too, so it's not going to put me off.

And her Windows 11 one wouldn't download/install the recent cumulative Windows Update last week. I think I've fixed it for her but she's not called me to let me know if it worked, or not.

Actually, she accidentally updated to Windows 11 on one laptop but her other one is still Windows 10.

Yeah. I went on Steam last week during a sale and managed to not buy any games on sale, for once.

I refuse to pay anything above £20 for a game (especially one's over a year old), now. I did for DA:TV, Expedition 33 and Eternal Strands but those are exceptions.

Should add it also basically uses a stripped-down Windows 11, which isn't designed for gaming.

And you can technically play your Xbox library via Play Anywhere but that's a streaming service and if you have terrible Internet, it's not going to be fun.

It's (the X version) technically better than a Steam Deck but it's being branded as an Xbox when you can't play your Xbox library on it (unless it's PC Game Pass). It's just an Xbox branded PC Handheld.

The X version is also $999.
