I was bought the Amstrad SM104 for Christmas 1985 by an ex. It didn't last long. The Amstrad.

Also! You've reminded me that seemingly half of showjumping horses in the 80s were called Sanyo Something or Other.
Had VC already left by then?
They're on the front of District Line tubes, 18" diameter I reckon.
Been said a million times before, but transport as a service rather than a business for shareholders.
I moved to Chiswick last year. The 94 bus starts 50 yards from my door and ends at Piccadilly Circus. Chiswick Park, Turnham Green and South Acton stations are all within 10 minutes' walk. I'm 60 so have a 60+ Oyster Card. I'm aware I don't know I'm born.
Went to Kew Gardens yesterday.
I thought it was good fun. CGI was rubbish. Oscar Isaac was quite Robert Downey Jr's Sherlock Holmes-like.

Your mention of Auxerre just now reminded me: do you remember a couple of the Paul Rideout-era English schoolboys being affiliated with Auxerre?

My husband @mjowen174.bsky.social is very down.
He’s struggling to find any work at the moment.
He’s a brilliant writer and has written for Dangermouse, Private Eye and many more…

If you need a writer have a look at his website and please repost.

Detroit Lions used to have a quarterback called Chuck Long.
I had a pull-string voiced Action Man delivered by Santa in 1973-ish. "Return to base!".

My mum said it sounded like Terry Wogan.
Ask HR/People Services for advice.
Lots of hairspray too. It's all rock solid.
Wisely, no zips on that jacket.

Did you ever see the Yentob 'Imagine' programme, 'Just One Falsetto'? I saw it once, in 2012-ish, been looking out for it ever since..
Easily the best thing they did.
Oh blimey...

Before he was famous I remember seeing a pic of him in Smash Hits for some light-hearted vox pop article where he was introduced as "market seller George". Still heavily made-up, crimped hair I think?
