The radio transmission tower at Lauderdale, Tasmania, is a well known landmark. The radio tower was installed for transmissions from the ABC radio stations 7ZR (936kHz AM) and 7ZL (603kHz AM). The call sign for 7ZR was later changed to ABC 936 whilst 7ZL became Radio National in 1991.🧵
