Meanwhile, Ironically enough, due to how my friend runs his fabula ultima game, bossses using ultima points to getaway would harm the pacing(It's a Legend of Zelda campaign, so alot of bosses are intended to be one and done.)

Yeah, I GM alot of prowlers and paragons, and I always keep at least one adversity to let some villians make a clean getaway(and then have to remind players that it was an adversity spend)

If you are writing something and the monster is a real living being in your world, The Novel Frankenstein could be seen as a *scandelous* biography that made very heavy and unbelievable accusations towards Dr. Frankenstein.

Then people learn the monster is real.

I do think it's hilarious that like... Goku and Vegeta can train for years to get stronger, and then Freiza jumps magnitudes by foing like push-ups for 30 minutes.

Ubiquity, which powers Hollow Earth Expeditions. It's simple enough when running, at least in my experience, and it's got enough player expression in char creation to allow a wide variety of builds, especially thanks to talents that let you use things like charisma for attacks

Part of the reason I have been taking the classes I have been recently is for the chance to be exposed to works that I otherwise would probably have never read, and I am still settling with one story we had to read for world literature recently "The Woman Who Destroyed Us," by S.L. Huang. It's great

7th Sea, which focuses on being swashbuckling heroes. 2e is pretty cool but requires a different mindset as a GM compared to most other games I have ran.
