He genuinely surprised me with how much a short king he was--
I actually want Jahoda, but idk if I want Durin to get her... and I'm considering Columbina now cuz she grew on me... so I'll see how I feel based on how much I save as well 🤔

But that can all wait until after I get my fix with Pokemon lmao--
I wasn't planning to get all 3 honestly, Lauma was going to be a skip but I also didn't have a decent Dendro support (I didn't like Nahida's playstyle), and Lauma kinda powercrept her 😂

It just works out that she's also Nefer's premium support, which I usually tend to skip for other hypercarries
[Genshin] Realized that I've neglected sharing my recent Nod Krai summons but I ended getting, all three featured 5-stars thus far with my saved primos, with Nefer being the most recent 50/50 win (at hard pity lmao)

In contrast, Flins was a capturing radiance win, and Lauma was a double hard-pity 😂
Yeahhh I know that some speedrun the game to share content, but not all of it are good-faith takes. Esp. the ones saying the battles are too chaotic, etc

Maybe if they /took their time/ exploring and practicing the battle mechanics, and not brute-forcing their way thru, they might enjoy it more?? 😂
Actually, it baffles how some finish the games in 24 hours or less. I know you /can/, but the game encourages exploring the city and completing wild zones, it's a fun way to pace things

Not to mention that /not/ exploring means missing out on some key items that could make late game easier, so ya--
Guess I'll need to go at a more steady pace with the rest of my [PKMN-ZA] playthru, back to the day job tomorrow u m u )9

My rotation team has reached their 60s (level-wise) and I know I'm already near late game, but it feels like there's a lot more and I wanna savor the story without rushing it
[PKMN-ZA] Fleur has an Impish nature (not ideal meta wise but, mints exist--), and I've been trying to reconcile how she would act with my trainer, but this set of photo conveys seems to convey their familiarity quite well.
I'm going to sit on them while I continue the story and share their progress later, but at the very least my Meganium has a nickname now -- Fleur[-de-Lis]! If that gives a hint to the theme ✨
I think… I finally thought of a nicknaming theme, for my 'mons o)------<

As mentioned, I didn't want to name them after OCs, but wanted to give them /some/ sort of theme like I did with my Legend Arceus team. I think what I have will work well though, and it helps that most of the terms are French…
[PKMN-ZA] Getting the hang of Rogue Mega Battles and honestly, they're a lot of fun!! They feel like actual boss battles, similar to nobles in Legends Arceus

Also a lot less frustrating that Alphas in wild zones tbph /less factors to focus on aside from "Dodge and Mega evolve as soon as possible--"
KSDFSDF THEY RLY MADE THAT AREA AWFUL almost every pokemon aggros, and they are so hard to see in the grass, and so little room to run or dodge aha... 🫠

And omg that sucks!! But at least you beat it, that was my main goal too but I just managed to catch it in a last ditch effort throw after it KO'd
LEGIT LMAO the Ice Beam in particular is so scary -- like it has a bit of charge time but comes out fast. And there was very few areas for both you and ur mon to dodge 🫠
Despite my venting I'm having a good time with the game, I just wanted to beat this 'mon before moving on

Also u can spy part of my rotation team -- finally found out how to get a Riolu and wild Ralts, and thankfully got my hands on two (2) Dawn Stones so I didn't have to choose who to evolve!!!!
Like what do you mean this giant shrimp had Water Pulse, Ice Beam, /AND/ Aura Sphere??? WHY LMAO...

Not to mention all the [REDACTED] spawning around the grass and being aggro'd constantly, I blacked out during one attempt cuz of the /other/ mons respawning!!

But we got it now, so it's all good 😊✨
[PKMN-ZA] With all sincerity, fuck this alpha Clawitzer and this wild zone in general LMAO;;

If the alpha wasn't gunning for me the other mons were, I was so heated

I had fully surveyed the area but wanted to beat this particular one on principle /in this wild zone/ just to convince myself I could
Omg that’s good though that we can at least save the moment we hear or see them and retry as needed 😭 I even managed to find a shiny weedle in the city last night thanks to the audio ping — which is nice that shinies can even spawn outside of wild zones, too!
and the [redacted] I received happened to be female too.

For the latter, there would have been no opportunity whatsoever to soft reset, so I wonder if this was programmed because they knew most would want female, but I'll take it regardless.

Okay pauses this thread here, back to the poke-grind--
Also, I will concede... auto-saving is not nearly as irritating as I thought it would be. Cuz now I don't actually gotta worry to manually save every 10 minutes JIC my game crashes or anything.

My main concern was with soft-resetting the starters, but I still got my female Chikorita in 10 resets //
What else before I dive back in... Just general good QOL for being able to use our menu for modifying our teams and their move sets at any time, at least outside of battle.

That's come so far compared to when TMs could only be used once, and we had to go to a Move Relearner just to edit move sets
Oh-- also I'm playing on my original Switch and I haven't had any performance issues yet...?

People had me worry over that but it's honestly fine, I rly don't notice any lagging or even loading delays as I run thru the city.
I'm still midway thru my playthru but I haven't grown bored of the city, which was a concern others; mentioned. Esp cuz there's so much verticality with the rooftops.

I wish it was a /little/ easier to traverse some areas early game, but they offer neat puzzles, and I figure it'll get easier later
I also really like how moves of the same typing are animated differently, and it matters how they are cast

Does this move shoot in a straight line? Is it fast to cast or slow? Can it be tossed in an arc over obstacles? Does it appear where the opponent is standing? Just a nice variety of behaviors
Firstly, the live-action battle mechanics took a hot minute to get! Even now when my team is in their level 40's there's a lot to keep track over, but it's actually a fun change of pace.

It also rly seems to reward speed, power, and tanking for different reasons / use cases. But esp. speed lmao--
[PKMN-ZA] Gonna make an async thread of some non-spoilery thoughts and observations while playing Legends ZA, just to jot them down while I take a break \o/ ✨
