Just to have a pinned entry...

Content here will be mostly related to my comics; The Class Menagerie, i.s.o., and From Russia With Lust (title pending)...

If you're here due to any of my OTHER art accounts, sorry, I won't be crossposting any of that here!

LOL you saw the sketches by Polarcartoons just after this too...

Absolutely. But I'm biased cuz those are fun to draw 😜

Then comes the fun bit where the 10-key input on your computer's keyboard has the opposite row order of a touch-tone's 10-key, so good luck remembering that on both sides.

I try to avoid Bsky on weekends (haaate phone typing), but during the week I'm on a desktop and I really have no excuse to not...

Usually it's better up there, but the last time I found what I needed in store was PotP...

Can't find anyone else in stores?

I don't recall why teh hubby and I were discussing this at one point, but it's as good a time as any to draw it. And he looks good in it!

And I guess this can be considered the final version. The conversation will ultimately be worked into comic as a whole, but I was just really enjoying the thought of drawing hot scary bartender Cody.
Hot scary bartender Cody, now with built-in context.

Was reminded I never posted this (esp since it's not furry). This is 100% what I was trying to exemplify with Jake having trouble finding the right dance role cuz he's ~6' tall.
Britney's ex Sam Asghari is 6'2" and pretty built, close enough. And this is how he was used in the Slumber Party mv.
In the group dance scene, Asghari (if not obvious, the huge guy wearing all black) appears very briefly in two shots, on the right. But Asghari (and ostensibly the guy opposite him was tall too) is missing from shots like this. Possibly cuz his face would be on the top of the screen. And that means Asghari is not in any of the close-ups. The little twinks fit in the screen much better. But of course, Asghari is the only one big enough to do this.

You didn't know that, huh? Toni Braxton too.

"Okay, stop...everybody go up one shirt size..."
codyvfrost.bsky.social
Considering we can't see their legs, just stand her on a box.

And I misread that as "titties B movie" at first, which seemed odd given the...guy's shirt.

Remember Ms Spears is 5'4"; they had the same height difference as me and teh hubby.

Granted Asghari plays the love interest and appears elsewhere in the rest of the video, but seldom in any context that shows just how big he is compared to everyone else--a lot are of him seated at a dinner table.

So sad to hear.
She was a client at my first job. As with most of the more camera-famous clients, I never met her (though I was next to her bookkeeper) but consensus in the office is she was unquestionably a lovely lady.

Dude, if it were still 2000 and I thought such things were attainable, you'd be dodging SO many tomatoes!
codyvfrost.bsky.social
Nuuu, I said while YOU bench.

Pfft, I just postponed the stress til the end, and always lettered digitally so I could edit as much as needed. Plus I had beta-readers, takes pressure off!

Hrm, can't relate to this one, I always did dialogue at the end and I'm never writing another comic again. But....well, there there? *pats*
