Coastal Lines Press is a collective of writers in Gaza. Through Zines from Gaza, we publish independent booklets of poetry, essays, and testimonies that travel like vessels from coast to coast, turning words into vital aid for our families.

Meet Coastal Lines Press writer and artist Esraa El-Banna, who illustrated “To the World: A Comic from Gaza." Esraa is an English literature student. She was displaced from Gaza City on October 13th, 2023, and is currently still displaced in Deir Albalah in South Gaza.
"To The World" is a comic zine by Jehad Abu Dayya and Esraa El-Banna, who wrote and drew the comic from their tents in Deir Al-Balah. Edited by Deena Mohamed, it tells the story of a fictional student named Farah, who shares her experience during the genocide in Gaza.
"To the World: A Comic from Gaza," written by Jehad Abu Dayya (@jehad_kamal_2003) and illustrated by Esraa El-Banna (@e.livesO.O), is now available through Coastal Lines Press.
