Even though, you know, he spent a little more of a decade being raised as a Nobody.

Most of his memories are a blur due to being a Nobody at a young age. Talk about some serious soul searching. And he likely spoke with Hades quite a bit too. .

So..I'm imagining he was in the Underworld, attempting to piece together not only fragments of his memory, but his soul too. But to move on he had to likely forgive what happened as a shady part of his past.
