It's come to our attention that SNAP benefits may not be issued next month, and a lot of local families will likely feel that impact. For parents already doing their best to juggle everything, even small changes can make a big difference when it comes to keeping kids fed.

Back during COVID, we offered free kids' meals to help families get through a tough time, and it feels like the right thing to do again. Starting November 1, kids can stop by and get a Classic Starter Hotdog on us.

If your family has been affected, or if you know someone who could use a hand, please spread the word. Just mention the "UHDC KIDS Special" and our team will take care of the rest. No purchase, no questions, no strings attached. Kids must be present.

This isn't about picking sides. It's about people. It's about our kids, our neighbors, and our community. No child should ever go hungry, and if we can do a small part to help, we're proud to do it.

We've always believed we're stronger together, and as a community, we'll get through this the same way we always have: by looking out for each other.

Another #BalloonFiesta is in the books for us. I love that I get to do life with these people, even if I only get to see some of them for 10 to 15 or so days a year. Luckily I’ll get to see some of them in just a few weeks and then again in December.

I’m actually sorta making a joke. Our hot air ballooning group finally decided to do shirts with our names again (which they basically haven’t done in the 23 years I’ve been with them). So I was joking that after 23 years, we finally made my participation “official”, not that it wasn’t before. 🤣🤣🤣
