My internal monologue is just a medley of the angry Kendrick bars
Favorite part of it is "you have a professional obligation to keep this off the record" followed by "you are not even a journalist."

Beautiful content all around. Comey can probably find a more affordable lawyer tbh.
They made these gov jobs with guardrails to constrain your average moron with bad judgement, and we're being saved because all these people are below average morons with actively self-destructive judgement.
People told me the meritocracy wasn't going to save us, but I mean, it's definitely going to at least help us
Rural reproduction rates are higher than urban and it's never been easier to live in a rural area. My MIL lives wayyyyyy out there and Amazon now delivers straight to her door when though she had to drive 20 minutes to get her mail at a PO box. These people aren't even trying.

Man, America First has got some big caveats.
My first real "oh shit these people do not fundamentally understand" moment was listening to so many O-5s, O-6s, and a couple of SES wonder out loud what was wrong with the Trump-Zelenskyy first impeachment call.

"Don't all presidents make deals to make diplomacy happen?"

Bro...
"Mr. President, Sir. We need you to just move a little bit so we can confirm you're in here. They went a little light on the orange and you're blending in with all the greige."
Really have to appreciate the absolute confirmation of journalism's "if it's not served in front of my eyeballs on X the everything app, does it real?," worst impulse.
My only **minor** disagreement is that fare jumping should be abolished as a crime (like jaywalking) and public transportation should be no cost at point of service.

Also, it is unethical to insist on backing into a spot in a parking garage if people are waiting for you.
Yes! I am 90% certain the Army and USCG made accounts, but sure Space Force did - but it's gone now.

The Services made accounts here during the pre-NoKings executive branch invasion, posted nothing, and then deleted the accounts hours later.
Others are saying it's 100% routine, so there's that
I've only been to Pendleton once, but am I crazy or can the Marine Corps truly not livefire artillery without high-arcing it over the coastal highway?
Case in point (and I know it's NYC not the national org, but still No Kings willing to put the logo on it), but "No Billionaires" was not a moderate stance in Jan 2020, and things like No Kings is pushing that into the mainstream
I'm sorry, OP is being absolutely delusional bc these protests and the spaces and grassroots groups and leaders that are growing out of them are not having their appetite whet by this. The opposite is true! People are hungry for more action, and No Kings is not moderating center-left opinion.
A pinball tilt sensor for the Costco carts and they give you $5 at checkout if you don't set it off while shopping
Homeland and hemisphere, and by that I mean we will destroy all of our trust and credibility in both of those places first
Super, it came with a threat to use military force against "Columbia" bc of course it did.

Stop the killing fields or we will create fields where we will kill people in your country.
It's like we're unlearning the entire development of the 18th Century dispassionate, professional diplomatic service.

"L'État, c'est moi," indeed. Maybe No Kings is onto something.
This is just personalist foreign policy too, that actively hurts the security and prosperity of the US. Trump does this bc he sees it as an afront to him personally. There's no strategic consideration, no consultation with the NSC (lol) or SOUTHCOM (double lol).
But we have a good security cooperation relationship with the country, and it's been good for both sides to maintain mil-mil engagements even when the civilian/political side has been strained.

I wonder how much pull the new SOUTHCOM CCDR will have to keep the SC stuff going. Just an own goal...
