We didn’t even wear blazers at school as that was deemed as too posh
Judy Preston and Ann Wilson were incredibly posh. Straight out of Italia Conti I reckon
#GrangeHill The whole point of Grange Hill was to put working class kids on the television …and yet all the kids are posh ..except for Benny Green and Trisha Yates
#GrangeHill Perry Benson Klaxon!
#GrangeHill #ThatsTV Sausage time!
It was the best decade for alternative guitar music. Especially the early 90s
There are no bands that sound like this today 😞
It sticks out like a sore thumb as the last track on the ‘Best of’ album. There’s really not much difference between Blur & Gorillaz from this point onwards. Except for ‘Out of Time’. If only they had released that instead of ‘Music is my Radar’ and made it their final single.
#GrangeHill “4737, Carlin, Sir”
#GrangeHill When Neville ‘Baldy’ Davitt retired from Barnestoneworth United he became a teacher at Grange Hill
The Caves of Androzani is.. well, a bit boring
Heads up Lads. The very first episode of Grange Hill will be shown this evening on Thats’s TV at 6:05pm
1982 was a great year for compilations
70s Carry On films yes ..but 60s Carry On’s are on par with Mel Brooks’ movies. Cleo, Screaming and Up the Khyber are just as good as The Producers, Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein
I would never pay more than £50 for any item of clothing. You can get anything for under £50 online. MandMDirect and ASOS are brilliant for that
