Agreed, you really do, and it's easy to forget when you get accustomed to streaming. Like I rewatched Pacific Rim on Blu-ray a few months ago, and I was actually blown away at how great the quality was.
Went to see my first pops orchestra tonight and had a great time, the theme was "a night at the Oscars".

Lots of John Williams tributes, a couple songs from Wicked, and several other things. Literally got chills in so many moments! #MusicSky #Hollywood
I can relate, it's happened to me so many times with TV shows especially. I don't like to binge things, so many times I've started watching a show only for it to become unavailable eventually
Think I'm going to start collecting physical media again. Takes up a lot of space, but it's such a bummer to look for something specific you want to watch and see that it's not available because of a music rights issue or whatever nonsense

So I bought 'Cocoon' (1985) on eBay lol #FilmSky
Mixed and mostly negative feelings about the situation with The Witcher

I don't mind a little artistic license in adaptations, it's a necessary evil, but there's so little of the books and CDPR's incredible games represented in this series. They goofed up what should've been an easy slam dunk
Just to be totally clear: I'm skeptical, that's why I asked. Because these examples they shared don't look great to me either honestly, and the MK art book did use AI in an obvious way. But I think these examples seem like a bit of a stretch too
I watched it over the weekend and thought it was awesome, the way everything came together was so expertly done.
I feel like I've had a direct encounter with them in the wild less than a dozen times overall so far
I got the Mark Wahlberg Planet of the Apes, and Rush Hour

No idea what inspired my grandma to get those specific movies for me lol but I sure did watch 'em
IT is one of my favorite books, so that makes it difficult for me to not be a harsh critic here. I had the same criticism of the movies. For whatever reason the filmmakers feel it necessary to only adapt the framework of Stephen King's story, while padding it out with their own that isn't as good
So, episode 1 of Welcome to Derry.

Very strange. Didn't hate it, not in love with it either. I did enjoy the kids' acting

I just don't understand what their ultimate goal is. Feels like they're simultaneously retreading old ground while continuing to make up new things wholesale #TVSky

Finally finished a playthrough of The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition on PS5.

Overall, good game! A tad easy, but I can't deny that I had fun playing it. Seems I got most of the best ending, according to walkthroughs. I love that you can fix most problems with science and persuasion! #gaming

For the record, I do hope Xbox gets their act together.

But man, I simply do not understand what they've done to maintain any sort of loyal user base over the years. I've been disillusioned with Xbox broadly speaking since the Xbox One lol
SCOOP: For the last two years, Microsoft has pushed Xbox to hit profit margins of 30%, an ambitious target that's far higher than the industry average.

This chase for profit has led Xbox to raise prices, cut thousands of jobs, and rethink everything.

If reports are to be believed, neither my brother nor my father are allowed to hang out with me in the near future because their fiance and wife respectively will get upset that they did *anything* without them

I'm literally begging anyone who reads this to find partners who approve of your family
Anyone else feel kinda let down by the Gen V season 2? The whole season felt a bit cringe, and the writing wasn't as sharp. Some cool ideas, but iffy execution. Hopefully the final season of The Boys won't disappoint, I'm optimistic #TVsky
Man I hope it's worth the wait regardless. In the meantime, I am rewatching the old ones to whet my appetite lol
We've started quite the collection of water bottles at our house. We have so many water bottles that we're storing them in the cupboard, in the liquor cabinet, under the damn coffee table...running out of places to put them now lol
All these young people out there making sure they have the coolest water bottle.

I grew up in the 80's and 90's. I don't think I drank water until I was 30.
Disney just can't get Star Wars right, can they? All the actually good ideas anybody had simply could not be done or be fully realized without compromise
Adam Driver reveals he was developing a new Star Wars movie ‘THE HUNT FOR BEN SOLO’ with Steven Soderbergh

• Was set after ‘The Rise of Skywalker’

• Lucasfilm loved the idea but Disney said no — “They didn’t see how Ben Solo was alive”

I am about 13 hours into my Borderlands 4 playthrough (someone unexpectedly gifted me a copy)

So far, I'd say it is definitely a Borderlands game! The combat feels really good but its open-world is not super interesting. The performance on PC is terrible too.

I am not hating it though! #gaming #PC
Have to admit it feels a little bit weird to scroll through Bluesky and mostly see genuine social media posting for a change

90% of ye olde #Twitter these days is just people arguing over thinly veiled ragebait

About halfway through my first ever playthrough of Metroid Prime, playing the remastered version on #Switch2.

Game absolutely rips so far. I love how the environments effect your visor, and how every so often you get a glimpse of Samus's face in the reflection. #gaming

Were it not for the fact that GTA6 will be a console exclusive at launch, and I want to group up with my friends, I'd probably sell my Series X right now. If GTA6 has crossplay actually, it's curtains for the Xbox I'm afraid
Bought Buldak Ramen at the store because I like ramen and it was new at our store. Did not realize it was literally one of the spiciest instant noodles in the Korean market

Good news is I like spicy foods. Bad news is...yeah, they're pretty spicy #ramen #southkorea

Basically no point in posting on ye olde Twitter anymore. Unless you're Nazi-posting or doing the blue check thing, the engagement is in the gutter. Talking to yourself more or less.
