When your political party is completely out of ideas?

Burqa bans.

Leader of Sweden’s Christian Democrats suggests banning burqas. Since almost no women in Sweden wear them, it’s a symbolic dog-whistle proposal targeting a tiny minority by a party that only attracts 4% of voters. Similar bans in Denmark and Switzerland proved to be next to useless.
