On this day 25 years ago, our little website began. A lot has happened since then, but somehow, you're all still here reading it.

We started the site to bring Aussies on the internet local Nintendo news, which at the time was hard to come by and only sparsely covered by the big sites.

Now, most of those big sites don't even exist.

More than ever, independent, no-bullshit Nintendo coverage is needed and we're here for as long as we're needed.

Thanks for the support, and for being part of the journey.

Arguably though it doesn't really matter for TikTok, right? Kids can still use it logged out, the algorithms will work the same, and they'll share videos with their friends on iMessage or whatever. They won't be able to upload, sure, but most users' experience will be largely identical anyway.

I love when you’re struggling with a puzzle in a game so you look up a guide and it’s like “simply solve the puzzle to progress”.

I definitely wish I’d been able to play it on Switch 2. Nothing wrong with it on any other platform of course, just big RPGs are so much more manageable when you can play an hour in bed at night etc
