her name is amarante, was so well written. i loved her curiosity and drive to do what she believed in and it was sooo good to see how she grew in her powers and self-esteem. i like her a lot!! it was an overall solid book and a decent one to start off 2025 :D

i just read a book, the herbwitch's apprentice, and it's a cute young adult fantasy that helped me pass the time. i think it's the first book i've read in 2025 (apart from the ao3 fics 😬) and im gonna give it 3.5/5 stars. it's cute and short, the main character is soo likeable +
