Hold on to the fact that there is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for.
That is the most ridoculously flattering photo of the man I have ever seen.
I wonder why there's such a gap between Reform voters and Conservative voters on this!
Yeah, but once Ragnarok happens, that's everything done and dusted forever, right? Right??
Yeah, if someone asked me, "If heaven and hell exist, which do you think you'll go to?", my first question will be "which version of heaven and hell?"

I'm an atheist who tries to live a moral life, and even if you asked Christians, I doubt you'd have universal agreement on where I'd end up.

I’ve been at plenty of protests where the Gardaí were sent in to shut things down, and not once have I heard them identify themselves, explain people’s rights, or state the law they were acting under. Even when the far-right are confronted directly by the police, they are treated with kid gloves.
In an art museum, you must be staring in awe at the paintings for the entire time. Anything less and you are evidence of the total collapse of civilisation. You may not look away. You may not sit down. And god help you if turn your back on a painting by anyone white statue twitter deems a "Master."
The wild thing is if he had just admitted it, said he got it at a bad time in his life, that he disavowed it now and hadn't covered it up yet because it would have been so expensive to do, a lot of people would have accepted it and moved on. It's the lie that sank him.

The Nazis didn't start with the Final Solution.

They attacked and tested their behavior on the disabled, the gays, and the leftists first and discovered the Germans would not stand up to defend them.

Trump is finding out he opposite, and that is why he is destroying the White House.
If you see the waiting area of a Nazi tattoo parlour, and there are nine obvious Nazis and one normal looking guy waiting there, you're looking at a waiting area with ten Nazis.
The difference is you're not a Nazi, and he is.
It's such a great font. I'm not dyslexic but using it made my reading speed and comprehension go through the roof. No more having to reread sentences or entire pages.
I remember a Twitter account trying to counter this by logging Trump's latest step towards fascism each day. The idea was to create a historical record, so you could look back years later and see how his behaviour that had since become normalised had once been considered outrageous.

I don't know any tattoo artist who would do a Nazi tattoo, so aside from anything else, you also gotta be in a Nazi tattoo parlour.
It's training you to match its own expected outputs, and doing it in such a confident and persuasive way that you understandably but wrongly interpret it as insightful and helpful.
You're not learning anything from it except how to make your thinking flatter and more generic.
But it isn't reviewing it. It's generating a statistically likely response to your input based on other input it has seen. It's not engaging with your work, your intent, your biases, anything. It's just saying, "people who supply input like X tend to want output like Y", and then giving you Y.
Not "nab"? As in, "Can I nab you for a minute?"

The meaning is right and maybe you heard the "can I" at the start of the sentence and your brain squished the words together?
Editors *extend* your thinking because they engage with what *you* made. The exchange deepens your understanding because they are *your* ideas to begin with. LLM's don't do that. They just simulate statistically likely responses. You are skipping the work to get to a simulation of the endpoint.
You are literally using it as a shortcut.
A society grows great when old men build ballrooms whose floors they know they shall never dance on. /s
Cis me bought a knock-off "Protect the Dolls" t-shirt after seeing Pedro Pascal in one, thinking it would be cool to show allyship. I showed it to a trans friend and her first response was "I'm not a fucking meme," and it went in the bin right away. Rightly so. 100% should have run it by her first!
You could just log off and go for a walk, mate.
