More animations! This one is complex enough to show some issues. Don't get me wrong, it's still good (for my skill level), but it feels a bit stiff. If I had more time, I could draw more frames, which would likely fix that issue.
Is it an issue though? What do you think? How does it look?

I just realized it's October and I haven't drawn anything spooky yet. This doesn't really look "Halloween-y" but hopefully it's suitably spooky for the season.

I still haven't found a better name for her, so she's still Sherry...

Having body parts moving around makes things a lot harder. I might have to simplify the drawing process. I already forgone shading, but I might also remove some of Chieri's "slime coloring" (the light/dark bits). I should also think of a better way to put highlights in the eyes...

I've mentioned before that Chieri is a tall gal, but I never specified just how tall. I thought I'd two-birds-one-stone this by including Arthur too. He is not happy about this.

When I mentioned that I'm considering making an interactive webcomic, think I was joking? NO! I picked up animating! I set a skill level goal I must reach before taking on such a project, and this is the result of my first attempt. It's the "bouncing ball" exercise, but with a touch of Chieri.

This was a long time coming, but I finally took a crack at designing Chieri's roommate; the person who found her and agreed to shelter her while she had to lay low. The design is not final, this is just the first iteration. You can tell where Chieri got the color scheme for her human form, right?

I made this drawing for two reasons. One, I did like Jade in the pilot, and two, I wanted to practice drawing a character with glasses because I'll need that skill for some designs of my own in the (near?) future. I tried to stick close to her design in the pilot, but I did make a few minor changes.

When I read Homestuck over a decade ago, I liked it, or at least the idea of it. I even considered making my own interactive webcomic! But due to laziness and a lack of skill/time, it never went anywhere. Maybe I could do it today? I don't think webcomics are very popular anymore though... Are they?
