The showcase 100% made me on board with the mounts. At first I thought it was a cheap implementation for traversal but they really seem to have put in the work to make them useful!

I feel like they have more in store for the DLC or maybe another one releasing earlier next year than normal. Because they are giving us the full main story all at once! Maybe I’m delusional but feels like they are switching up the cadence!

Work scheduled a major meeting at the time of the DreamLight Valley Showcase today 😩. Pissed doesn’t even begin to describe how I’m feeling right now and I’ll have to watch it after instead of live!! But at least we get all of the news today! ❤️

Since the video their blog and store page on Steam seem to suggest the usual four characters being added with it along with three full biomes. We’ll see how it turns out but it may actually be a full fledged expansion and the teaser just was not great at showing that haha

So new expansion announcement looked good but a bit underwhelming to me 😅. I hope they announce that we get either another expansion with story or that this one is a lot larger and more narrative than it looks. I can’t imagine this being the expansion for the entire year but maybe that’s just me ha

Yeah I think both sides are valid and the devs will have to find ways to help both sides feel heard. The game still has many years ahead of it, with the support for it continuing to grow. So it’ll get better and I’ll try and make things a little less toxic where I can! lol

I’m on the fence about the changes, I think they will need to bring a little more challenge back. But not really upset with them making it easier for casual players. I want everyone to be able to enjoy it without feeling obligated to play this game over others. I game a lot and it’s time consuming!😅
