There is also a colorful floor-to-ceiling art piece titled "Flowers for the Blue Line Racine Station," created by renowned Chicago painter and ceramic artist Judy Ledgerwood that welcomes riders into the station.
These features remove barriers and allow all riders to access the system.

The Racine Blue Line's main stationhouse has officially reopened!
Originally constructed in 1958, the main stationhouse was completely rebuilt to accommodate a new elevator, a new ADA accessible ramp from the stationhouse to the platform, new stairs and an extension of the platform.

The main station entrance opens on October 10, 2025, and will include a new elevator.
In addition to the elevator, a longer platform and new stairs will replace the ramp that once connected the platform to street level at Racine Avenue.

Board a Blue Line train and exit at UIC-Halsted.
Use the Halsted Street exit or Morgan Street exit and walk two blocks north to Adams Street to view the runners around Mile 14 in Greektown.
Or use the Halsted Street or Morgan Street exit and walk one block north to Jackson to view runners around Mile 17.

Board a Pink Line train and exit at 18th Street.
Walk four blocks east to Loomis Street.
