Both Lincoln and JFK lay in repose there after their assassinations. Ford was sworn into office there. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was signed there. Numerous concerts by great American artists were played there. What a sickening thing to have done to our history by an abortion of a man.

I was at a Packers-Bears game at Soldier Field in 2003 when a Bears fan a couple rows back started shit talking a Packers fan before he jumped down 4 rows and tackled the guy over a row of seats. Damn well could’ve killed or paralyzed him. Haven’t been back there since and won’t go back.

My issue with the play was that nobody saw the left field ump make that call (albeit correctly). He was 250 feet from the play and out of the line of sight. Had the 2nd base ump rotated out (which he would’ve with only 4 umpires like during the regular season) he would’ve been more visible.
