Today marks 80th anniversary of VJ Day. We will be observing two minutes of silence throughout the Cathedral as well as an act of remembrance with the Lord Mayor at the War Memorial at 12pm.

All are welcome to join us in person or online for Evensong where there will be special prayers for VJ Day.
Chester Cathedral is an enthusiastic partner with the Diocese of Chester in the Speak Out Stay Safe campaign.

Come along this Saturday for a Vintage Sale organised by our 'Giving in Faith' group, open 10am-4pm.

The sale will include coats, dresses, shoes, jewellery and more. All money raised will be split between a church in north India, Honiara Cathedral and the Cathedral's Education Department.
It's International Beer Day! Did you know Café 1092 has its own beer available in the café and during events?! Ten Ninety Choo Choo IPA design was inspired by Making Tracks & our stained glass windows. Pete Waterman was kind enough to model with a can when it was created last year.
