A #collection of #cartoons that depict #politics in #Italy and #abroad in 2006 and 2007.

The #author has passed away #today, so I decided to post one of his books.

The #style is unmistakable and the #humour is caustic.

One of the most important #novels of the #XXCentury and a #milestone in #Italian #literature.

It’s easy to see in the main #character a #projection of the #author himself, especially from the #language point of view.

A friend recommended this #novel, the first of a #trilogy (called #DarkStarTrilogy) heavily inspired by #African #mythologies and #cosmogonies.

A #hunter named #Tracker has to find a boy amidst a #supernatural #Africa.

And so, the #spooky #month ends with a #collection of #ShortStories by different #authors dealing with body #horror. I wouldn’t say they’re scary, but they’re definitely disturbing. At least those I’ve read so far.

Before #Dracula, another #vampire stole our hearts. She’s not completely “evil”… on the contrary, the #reader feels #empathy for her.

Her relationship with #Laura is complex and fascinating.

A #must for vampire lovers.

I love this #novel! Truly #terrifying.

It deals with a #family moving to a #beautiful #house where a #series of #murders had taken place.

Several #movies have been madr from this book.

A well-known poem which is also quite #spooky, if you think about it: you got a #monster, a #hero that tears its #arm and slays it. Then, the monster’s mom and finally a fire-breathing #dragon!
