I have a pet theory that despite Ncuti's good work, RTD, being the great writer he undoubtedly is, hated the Disney deal and worked to undermine it.

There was a rather good two-parter on the BBC about a USAAF squadron sharing a base with an RAF squadron in WW2 about 25 years ago, Over Here.

It was told in flashback, and Timothy West played the older version of Samuel West's character, which was a nice touch.

My father passed at 3:40 this afternoon, peacefully, with my brother at his side.

Thanks to all those wonderful people of #TheArchers Bleetalong for their support and sympathy over these last few days.

Yeah, he's essentially gone already, if it weren't for the saline drip he would be.

They've moved him to a side room, otherwise, no real change.

He's now been unable to eat for eight days, barely conscious for six.

I hate to say it, but I hope he goes soon.

One place I worked, the Christmas party wasn't exactly compulsory, but you'd had it for pay rises if you didn't go...
Plus the boss used to send out "don't get pissed" emails. A woman who routinely had to be scraped off the party floor...
