In other news, the only book store in Marion - Title Page Used Books, is closing Oct 31st. Tiny place, no Sci-fi/fantasy, but all books are now priced at a quarter. If you are in the area, worth looking it up.
Right? The Republican party protests so loudly about their being called out as Nazis, when the leaders of their youth movement are praising Hitler.
I read all about this and, while I'm not surprised in the least, I'm disgusted to see such behavior. A generation of Americans fought and died to stop the ideologies that they are espousing. They need to be rooted out of our political system.

It is happening if I drop a picture in as well. From what I'm seeing elsewhere, it is a problem that is impacting a number of people... but not everyone. It looks like it generally clears up in a few days... ?
Unfortunately, I won't be at Gamehole... Just home working.
I have no idea what is going on, but now when I post images to blue sky, they are blacked out. Have I offended the social media gods?
Oh yeah, you’d need a very favorable prosecutor to take the case.
...and the image is now blacked out. Okay, maybe this *IS* a sign.
Okay, I'm not one to bang the drum of Biblical symbolism or anything but, COME ON! I mean, if Jesus can be found in a corn flake, how can any zealot ignore this? I mean, the guy autographed Bibles!
Donald Trump seated in front of a golden sconce that, while lit, gives him the appearance of having a pair of golden devil horns.
Okay, 7,000 words written and some tax work done. All of this despite my still lagging due to the vaccinations yesterday. My brain is now mush, and I think I need a long nap before going back and reviewing what textual horrors I may have written.

Happy Jaquays Day to all who celebrate! Check out Daniel's incredible tribute to a true legend of our industry: Jennell Jaquays.
Its Jennell jaquays birthdat. She left this realm last January. Her her adventure design and artwork made a bigger impact on me than any other judges guild writer. I even used the color scheme from Hellpits of Nightfang for inspiration when illustrating Duginthroat Divided. Here's a small tribute.
I am absolutely honored to have been chosen to help carry a part of Jennell's legacy forward to a new generation of gaming.
Jennell Jaquays was a pioneering creator in both tabletop and video gaming.

She created two immense and now legendary adventures, Dark Tower and The Caverns of Thracia. Nearly 50 years later, both are now beloved by a new generation of players.

There is a little soreness but the one two punch of the flu and the new pneumonia vaccine has left me fragged
Double vaccination yesterday has left me pretty useless. Wooooof
Ellison even wrote a forward to the first US novelizations.
FFS no one should be leaping through such hoops just to find care. You are in a major metropolitan area, there is no reasonable explanation for why things are this difficult. My heart goes out you man.
I would think that intentionally violating constitutional rights would be outside the scope of their federal duties.
I wonder if, in a friendly state, you could file criminal charges. Some ICE actions go beyond menacing and into assault and battery, as well as false imprisonment. Videos like this could be used to show that they were acting beyond the scope of their authority…. Thus potentially actionable?
God, what will it take to get more Mystery Inc? Those folks understood Scooby-Doo and were Lovecraft fans to boot…
Which is as good as not having those constitutional rights in the first place
Which means that the feds may violate constitutional rights with impunity. Yeah, that’s a problem.
