I forgot to mention this moment of kindness I saw at the #nokings in Raleigh: two generous people stopped at the corner of Old Wake Forest Rd and Capital to drop off a bunch of sandwiches and water from their car for the protesters. I was very impressed by their thoughtfulness!

The first one in June rocked just as hard. And I think the visibility is far higher in that location than anyw downtown. I’ve been to others in downtown and you get people sure, but nowhere like the thousands that drove by in 3 hrs on Capital Blvd.

i can understand your perspective that downtown is where things happen, but I asked the person next to me at the protest, how many cars do you think are driving by? there is no way being downtown for three hrs would have matched the volume of people who drove by where we gathered. 😃

do Farmers markets exclude farms that are abusive as a requirement to sell there? if I ask a farmer, do you use and abuse H2A labor, how likely are they to answer and answer truthfully? And that still doesn’t deal with the bigger issue of farm policy that doesn’t distinguish abusive from fair farms.

I’m learning a lot from your videos. Something though that is still not clear to me is the difference between a “small” farm and other farms. if you’ve got a video that goes over basics like that, it might be useful to set up a ’farm economics 101’ or something like that on your YouTube. thanks.
