Meris was a pretty little Welsh Springer Spaniel with a big happy tail, she had a surprisingly loud 'singing' voice which she liked to use a lot!!!

Very sad to have to report that our beautiful Meris passed away 🌈 yesterday, aged 13 years 6 months

She always knew she was the Goodest of Good Girls

(Well except when she was in full spanieling mode 😉😪)

Pretty sure that on one occasion it would have been measles rather than smallpox that you had.
Also remember quickly strapping your little brother in his pushchair and beating a hasty retreat from the library with him yelling rather loudly and disturbing the peace

Layla is not allowed on furniture except when the cover is put on and she has been invited up. She certainly makes herself very comfy when she does get there though

Layla knows how to play fetch, didn't bring it all the way back this time but she did next time so a quick learner.

No video but OH threw ball into hedge later. We couldn't find it but Layla did - not a spaniel nose but good enough

Say hello to Layla.
She is a 7 yr old rescue mini labradoodle and is staying with us for a week while we see how we suit each other.
Yesterday was stressful for all with long car journey in and out of London.
Learning quickly and all adapting to each other today so more hopeful ...

Did look at them but she wouldn't have eaten the kibble underneath. She does still love her lamb wet food with occasional human prawns...
