When the flames are this high, does it matter who lit the match? 🃏 Skeletons don’t pick sides—neither do the ashes. 🗳️♠️

If you are visiting Phoenix over the holidays, check out the Desert Botanical Gardens "Light Bloom" exhibit.

The work comes from the HYBYCOZO collaborative studio (Artists Yelena Filipchuk and Serge Beaulieu) and is an incredible display combining nature, light and geometry.🏮

A series of five, dodecagon stacked together. Each face of each separate dodecagon has a pattern of stars which are laser cut into the metal. The entire sculpture is lit from within with white lights and casting shadows in every direction of the sculpture.

A hanging lantern approximately 4 feet long with eight sides creating an octahedron hangs from a large branch overhead. Each side of the lantern is made of a dark grey metal with laser cut designs. From this angle, there is the appearance of owl eyes in the top third of the lantern and ornate feathers around the face. The lantern is lit from within with a soft whitish yellow lite showing the designs on the ground in shadow form.

An approximately 8-9 foot tall decahedron. Each side of the decahedron is made of dark grey and black metal that has been laser cut into geometric patterns. The lantern in lit from within with a lavender light from the bottom, which is affixed to the ground. The internal light has cast a pattern of shadows on the ground surrounding the lantern.
