I wonder what thr orange is going to say about this in New York. He will be most unhappy.
Yep. Hopefully they are finished for the night. It's quiet in town now....sort of.

Now trusted enough to engage in casual bapping
Same here. I think there are folk on marine parade beach front letting them off.
I don't think will try & go to bed anytime soon.
Me too. There should be a time limit. Like no fireworks after midnight.
I really hope the idiots letting off fireworks on beach front - where there is a total fire ban, are nowhere near where the Dotterals are nesting.
That would be great. I get supported living payment and have to update hours/wages every week. Then add in the one day I get time & half. My benefit goes up & down. I get paid fortnightly from work. I hate being on the benefit.
Because they can't afford it. We get minimum wage or just above. They haven't had to pay a manager since late March. Cruiseship/Xmas season is going to be so stressful for everyone.
The place I work has been without a manager/visual merchandiser since March. The lady doing V/M on top of normal keyholder stuff is stressed & wanted another (exsisting) staff member (me) to do a few extra hours, just so she catch up - Xmas stock etc. But was told no by the General Manager

Currently it is sunny & 20 degrees in Napier.
My co-worker has aircon on ⬇️
I have turned it down to 20, then she turned it back up. I am cooking. I can't do this all summer. Am wearing a sleeveless top.
I know right. I did packing cubes, so can stock them nicely in my bag - which is something else I need to think about as well.
I am going to Christchurch/Dunedin next year - 5 days in March. Have been told having carry on only. I usually overpack. So this will be interesting.
Sorry to hear that. Hugs for you.
There is nothing on my payslips about days owed.
Is there anyone who understandsthis better than me?
My co-Worker informed me today that folk who are on casual contracts - me, are supposed to get a day in lieu as well as time & for working stat days. I did Google it.
Since our manager left, my regular day of work has been Monday. So stat days would be Easter Monday, Kings birthday & labour day.
I put up my pink Christmas tree yesterday.
The angel at top of tree is decades old. Will have to vlick on picture to enlarge it.
I am having breakfast. Have to work today.
Am really tired. I think I walked too much yesterday
I did NOT do the event. I was supporting folk.
A sign I saw at iron Māori today
