It's almost that time of the year for seymour to think about blowing up the Ministry for Pacific Peoples again and/or animals dying from the fright or injuries that fireworks have caused.

If you would like a PDF poster that you can print out to A3 or A4 and attach to your property please d.m me.
Cerise and black text on white background "We care no fireworks here" White text on purple to cerise fade "We care no fireworks here"

Exactly. This is not the kind of persistence we need.

Cool. You are clearly ok with living under a c.o.c arrangement. People like me are at the mercy of this Govt and it exasperates me to see to other left folk that would throw me under the bus to retain their bitterness for an idealogy.

I am hoping to attend in Wellington. Will workers be rallying at Parliament Grounds or outside their workplaces do you know?
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
That's a big jump on the 30% turnout we were sitting on at the end of last week. We really showed up, and look what we achieved ❤️

I understand there are differences between people over the best way forward, but minimizing these moments of agitation and maximising our strength, which is in our numbers, will lead to a win. Showing unity and cohesion allows others to come in too. We're up against big $$$.

Can not stress enough how important it is for all supporters of the three opposition parties to work together in a unified way to push the C.o.C. out in 2026. Less fighting, more kotahitanga.

#nzpol Video from 3 month ago: "Labour will repeal Regulatory Standards Bill within 100 days" @duncanwebbmp.bsky.social confirms again today

The implications are so immense, and the damage so widespread with this bill. It creeps into every aspect of life, humans, nature and animals.

💯. By definition, a union is literally a group of workers advocating for good pay and conditions and safe working spaces.
He will definitely view unions as bottom feeders.

It is the way.

Regarding the multiple planned strikes by public sector workers on 23rd October.

Are the public welcome to attend these rallies or would the various unions involved prefer the rallies to be worker only?

I struggled with SSRI's for years. I really hope you find a way that assists you.

Non evidence based policy leads to mind blowing wastage of public money and zero beneficial outcomes.

National/ACT Coalition government spends over $100,000 a year on a road cone hotline that increasingly hardly anyone uses - with each call leading to less than one road cone removed.

And they took this funding from real worksafe work

WTAF #nzpol #kiwi
After 5 months of the heralded ‘tipline’, just 204 road cones are confirmed gone
In Whanganui, information from the Government’s own Road Cone Tipline had actually led to more cones being put out than taken away. In Wellington, 110 complaints resulted in just two cones being remov...

Sorry your trial with SSRI's didn't go well. They are tricky.

Weight. When are people ever going to learn that unsolicited opinions about body size, even it they think they are being positive, is ALWAYS the wrong choice.
Was very ill with glandular fever. Folks thought this was great 4 weight loss.

I gotta say, I woke up today feeling fabulously free. Even teeing up a hot pot lunch with friends later felt like a huge win. Something I haven’t been able to do in a long time. 💕

That sounds like a form if liberation, how fabulous. Take care and enjoy your freedom.

Here's a very handy break down of what went down in Wellington, by @joelmacmanus.bsky.social which includes info regarding our Maori ward, Te Whanganui a Tara and the success for @ponekematt.bsky.social
This was a great win for th capital this weekend and it didn't happen by accident. ❤️Wellington
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
This is something I play in my head too. 😥
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
I'm feeling happy to be a Wellingtonian today. It's a good day.
We galvanised to retain our Maori ward and put a progressive bloc in at WCC. We're back and we're ready to kick this Govt out in 2026.

I agree Frank. The problem is that a septic wound has been opened in the physche of the capital. This is unusual for us, but we've been shaken by the poison the c.o.c has poured in, and a portion of the community has run with it. I am hoping we can rise above it now.

Its upsetting that there wasn't a way to legally get his nomination pulled for mayor and councilor after his behaviour towards Mayor Tory Whanau became apparent.
It's not acceptable that he could still run.
catherinejmckenzie.bsky.social
He came in with the lowest numbers in his ward, and got a hiding in his mayoral votes. He did however have an extremely rowdy and abusive support crew who were on line 24/7 smearing everyone else hard out. It was a very toxic campaign from his camp.
