Due to unexpected equipment failures, residential household waste collection may be delayed until Friday, Oct. 17 or Monday, Oct. 20, depending on the progress of repairs. Public Works crews are working hard to safely and efficiently complete waste collection as repairs progress.

Carrboro 10K and 5K road races are scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4.

The race begins in front of McDougle Middle School, winds through downtown Carrboro and its neighborhoods, and finishes on the McDougle track. Feel free to cheer on the runners!
