Y’all I am so happy to be home in my actual home! As soon as I got home this afternoon and got settled in MY bed, I took a three hour nap. I am now ensconced on my front porch because it doesn’t entail any steps down, which feels exotic. Never hung out here much! The humidity feels nice. #stpete

I’m back in Florida! Not quite home yet, but we made it to Yulee (near Jacksonville) and spent the night in a nice Best Western where the bed felt like a cloud and I got a good night’s sleep. We had our first post-surgery fight over my cherry limeade and a miscommunication, but made up. #Bucees

Well I am still at my mother’s house in SC. We are leaving this afternoon and driving half way. So I will be home home some time tomorrow hopefully. I’m feeling ok and ready for the trip. I have felt much better emotionally since my husband got here Sunday night. I slept fairly well last night.

For real. I had some from Kerrits and you better swing that leg over high because if you barely graze the saddle your leg is stopping. Very sticky. I gave them to my sister. Maybe if I had had those on I would have stayed on 🤔 I had those cute denim britches with knee patches on. Not a sticky butt.

Freezing my broken ass off in SC. Starting back to FL tomorrow. Thank god the husband is finally here to take care of me. Bless my mother’s heart, she loves me, but is a terrible caregiver.
