Well, at least the Brewers won their “Generational” series. Beating the Cubs in the NLDS was their World Series. 97 wins, best season ever*

I dig Jeff Tweedy’s Twilight Override but I hope a solo triple album of largely acoustic tunes got the “Grandpa’s Guitars” (Thanks for that phrase Dethklok) fixation out of his system & Wilco’s next venture is a raucous, 6-piece briar patch collage more akin to their Golden Age.

2025 Cubs, the best Cubs team in nearly a decade. Had a lot of fun. Frustrating at times sure, but starting to win postseason games again was a great. This felt more like 2015 than the end of something. Could only go so far with zero aces and three starters only in the postseason
