60 years ago, 100s of supporters of guaranteeing Black people’s right to vote after decades of Jim Crow obstacles were beaten by police in Selma, Alabama. Less than a month latter, Congress passed the Voting Rights Act. It appears now the SupCt majority will engage In a beat-down of the VRA.
