Every single group of students said their social media network would be 16+. They were divided about whether anonymous accounts would be allowed. Ideas included flagging AI and filters, employing human moderators and expert creators and algorithmic prioritisation of verified information.
Taught one of my favourite seminar tasks today:
I was literally just creating slides for class about SAG's AI agreements this morning and it says very clearly in there that if producers want to create synthetic performers they have to be consulted beforehand and discuss appropriate compensation, so I guess this was breached.
The newborn years were some of the greatest video gaming times of my life, nap-trapped on the sofa or awake before sunrise. Breath of the Wild came out as I started maternity leave and that save file is inextricably linked to my early parenting memories.
