I've decided what the first template will be and as it couldn't be otherwise it will be combining AI + Native 🤖 I want to give you a Feature Kit so you can jump on the local AI Apps train in a simple way.
I'll also focus on creating more tools for native development, improving the speed and quality with which we create our Apps. It'll be a very interesting journey 🛤️
Now that I need to dedicate more time to improving AS, it's time to work on a library of App templates from different niches and features that allow you to publish your Apps faster ⚡
And that was the true seed of Alison Lab my agency 🌱 Hence the slogan "Ship Apps Faster". From day one when I created my SL I knew I wanted to solve that pain I had.
And I thought... why? Why didn't I find a decent template for Native iOS that would give me the necessary boost to publish an App in days, not months? 🤔
It was going to take me more time to repair that disaster than to do it from scratch (kinda like what happens today with AI-generated code many times 😄) In the end the investment was a fiasco. Only one package for managing payments helped me, the rest was unusable.
When I downloaded them and opened the code... 🤦🏻‍♂️ buah! Some straight up didn't work, crashed on opening, code in bad and outdated state, UIs with UIKit, ObjC libraries about to deprecate... total garbage.
I searched through hundreds of apps, optimizing with reviews... most were "iOS" but cross-platform (RN, Flutter, etc.) I filtered by Native iOS and bought a few that seemed interesting 💸
My entrepreneurial spirit lit up 🔥 It had been years since I remembered Code Canyon and I said "I'm going to replicate this strategy with an iOS App for my portfolio"
One day I was channel surfing on YouTube and found a video by Mario Armenta telling how he created a SAAS in record time: he went to Code Canyon, bought a template, made small modifications and published it 🚀
But don't doubt that soon I'll come with very very cool demos, and Alison Studio will change the way we create Native Mobile interfaces without a doubt 🔥

Now it's time to train it and teach it to render each thing and manage states correctly 🧠 It's work that being just one person will take me time, a lot of time. I'll probably delegate it to weekends since I need to prioritize projects that feed my family ASAP 👨‍👩‍👧
At this point, I already have the DSL formed, giving support first to SwiftUI, to more than 100 views and modifiers. I have a dataset of more than 1000 examples of SwiftUI views + all the projects I have from my templates and courses 📊
Have a preview at the moment that serves as instant feedback without having to go to Xcode to verify all the time and many more features that are related ✨
That's the problem I want to solve with AS create agnostic UIs, the same response in iOS version with Native SwiftUI and Android with Jetpack Compose. Iterate faster, improve the quality of the generated UI and better quality in tools that help you improve them all integrated in a single tool
Even so there are many tools that allow you to create UIs on steroids, maximizing your potential, and in none of them do I find direct support for SwiftUI and native development  🤷‍♂️
Even Android Studio integrated Gemini, I was testing it and I said "this is more like what I'm looking for". Now with the new version of Xcode in theory we'll be able to use integrated LLMs, and we'll see how it goes... with Xcode you never know 😅 The previews often leave much to be desired.
But what happens... I'm an iOS Developer, most tools out there are very focused on web development 🌐 When I hear an AI that creates mobile apps in minutes, without even going to see it I already knew it used React Native or Flutter or some other experiment 🤔
I don't know, not being a designer it was hard for me... before AI it would take me hours to look for inspiration, go through Figma to improve the design and then start coding, and then see if what I coded convinced me and iterate. Now I can have something in mind and see it tangible in minutes
Since AI came onto the scene, I didn't doubt for a second to adapt it to my workflow 🔄 With each tool I have a different flow, I've used almost all of them I can say. What I liked using it for most was creating UI 🎨
In the coming days I'll be more focused on sharing the entire template library and I'll show some app demos. Like and follow if you're interested in this journey. In my newsletter I've created a post with more details about everything I've learned these days about AI models, MLX, and more.
Another important thing I've decided is to focus on the Apple ecosystem. After all, it's what I've done my entire career and what I'm most passionate about. But obviously, I often need to port FE from Swift or SwiftUI to Jetpack, and that's where AS will be there to help you 🙂
That's why it's time to enter the pre-launch phase of AS creating an extensive library of well-curated SwiftUI templates. I'll be releasing them soon, available on Patreon. Patreon will also serve as Early Access to the app very soon. Everyone who's in Early Access will have great lifetime benefits
