that's my point.

every story about the "60 vote threshold" should include the information that Republicans could turn it into a simple majority if they wanted to.

instead they write about it like it's in the constitution.
why could senators decide to lift the 60 vote requirement to push nominees through but not for this?

Three men — Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos — now own more wealth than 165 million Americans combined.

They own the media.
They own the algorithms.
They own politicians in both parties.

The system is rigged — but We the People can take it back.
Wait. UPS is laying people off in late October? They're not gearing up for xmas shipping?

In Soviet Union they used to tell a joke about a man who buys the newspaper every AM, looks at the front page, curses, & throws it away.

"Why do you keep doing that?," the seller asks.

"I’m looking for an obituary."

"But those aren't on the front page!"

..."Oh, the one I’m looking for will be."
I like thinking about how nervous trump must be when he starts getting to those hard questions, like where they read you some words and then a few minutes later ask if you remember them.

I picture him getting all sweaty and determined. I got this! I can do this!

He really finds it difficult.
Well, nobody expected a pitcher who can strike out 10 guys and hit three home runs in the same game, one of them all the way out of the park.

I mean, should you get to make a rule for just one guy? Cause that feels calvin-ball-ish af.

Cryptocurrency Still Has Limited Main Street Appeal
While almost all Americans have heard of cryptocurrency, just 14% report owning it, although the rate is much higher among certain subgroups.

And I would like to challenge this person to get a real job
Gaines: I want to challenge AOC to a debate.
He was focused on his feet, so he didn't take in the room and notice where he'd be going.

Didn't want to fall on his face coming down two steps. Just a matter of time before we get that video.

Worth your time, and then some.

Excellent film. Ignore the people complaining about the structure/ending; both are perfect vehicles for making the point.

Scott Bessent is worth half a billion dollars and owns multiple properties around the world. This is one he owns in Charleston, SC:
Yes. I remember how exciting it was to think about a world where finding a publisher wasn't akin to winning the damn lottery.

There has to be some sort of middle path here.
I think some smart journalist ought to just get him cooking on the specs for the ballroom. He's very proud of it, I hear, and likes to get into the details.

We'd have lots of video of him grinning about how nice the carpet is to juxtapose with clips of pissed off voters in grocery stores.
