She just kept me chatting the whole time. They had to take a fair bit for these particular tests, but I barely needed the apple juice she handed me after. She is a hero of myth and I hope her pillow is always cool and her takeout is always piping hot

I have a massive needle-phobia, which means that I have developed an appreciation for really good phlebotomists. And I encountered the GOD of phlebotomists this week. I went to close my eyes, per usual, and she was like "no don't do that, just talk to me and don't pay attention to what I'm doing."
