He refocused on the city around him. The goal was to keep an eye for anything unusual, but so far, it had been remarkably quiet. They only had to stop one pickpocketer, which had been ridiculously easy, and hadn’t seen any thug anywhere. It was almost too calm, though Adam didn’t want to jinx himself.

He figured he might have, however, when he spotted some Foot soldiers from afar. He stopped the others, waving in the direction they went in. They were close, but not enough to be anywhere near there.

“Foot.” He wrote. “Lots of them. Had someone with them. Leader?”

“Did you see what they looked like?” Leo asked him.

He shook his head. “Too far.”

“We’ve been seeing them for a while now.” Don pointed out. “Or rather, Adam has. I wonder what they’re up to.”

“Should we go check it out?” Mickey asked Leo.

Leo considered it for a few seconds. “If there’s a lot of them, it would be too dangerous to get up close.”

“We wouldn’t have to though. Maybe Adam could at least hear or see what they’re doing from afar.” Don suggested.

Leo glanced at Adam as he considered the possibility. Adam swallowed the stress building up in him while surveying the area in front of him. He looked back at them when a hand placed itself on his shoulder.

“We’d be there to protect you.” Mickey assured. “Right, Leo?”

“…Right. I don’t like that they’re going around, even more with how sneaky they are. You think you can do this?” Leo asked him.

Adam nodded. It was time he was part of the team for real and helped like the real fighter he had been created to be. Not heartless, never again, but definitely still a fighter. And a survivor. He got this.

I looked at the rest, I don't think the turtles are AI, especially Leo cutting down some mousers that you can recognize. I feel like AI would struggle with that but I did notice details that were weird. The artstyle of the pizza also all match but not the turtle's, so I'm on the fence with those.

It might not be, but it gives me the vibe of being AI generated, 'cause those are the types of mistakes AIs often make in their illustrations. Either that or it was hastily made, but it I also spotted it and it was weird to me. Like what, did the cheese glue itself to his fingers or something?

“Here, Paolo.” The purple one said, handing him a block. “The goal is to place the blocks inside the box through the holes. Do you think you can do that?”

Paolo sniffed the block. Smelled like wood. He placed his binky aside to gnaw on it for a bit. Tasted like wood. It sure was wood alright.

He looked at the holes in front of him. The piece he had had three sharp but rounded corners, making it all pointy. He tried pushing one of the spikes inside a hole.

It blocked.

Oh no. He was supposed to do this! The purple one had ordered him! It had to work!

He tried pushing harder, but it wouldn’t budge. He panted nervously as he tried another hole. Noooo, it wasn’t working either! He was failing!

“It’s okay, try again.” The orange one ordered him.

It wasn’t okay though! He was failing! It wasn’t working!

He slammed the piece with more and more anxiety. Anytime now, he would get slapped or shoved away for failing. Or worse, they would sigh disappointingly at him before leaving him all alone, alone, alone-

He broke down. His block fell from his hand and when a hand went for him, he panicked.

Slash isn't a permanent enemy in the 2012 show. He becomes an allie later on. But I know what you mean, even between the different shows, some characters like Leatherhead are either or depending on the itteration and it's a bit confusing if you don't know them.

“87…… 88…… 89……” Raph counted as he lifted the thickest barbell they owned.

Adam was standing behind his head in case he dropped it as Raph continued his pulls.

“90…… 91…… 92…… 93……” Raph continued with grunts and huffs.

Adam eyed the door as a not-so-subtle turtle in orange came sneaking in. From Raph’s angle, he couldn’t see him, and Mickey made sure he would not as he kept to his blind spot, silently shushing Adam to keep quiet. Adam gave him a questioning look until Mickey’s fingers suddenly found Raph’s sides, tickling him senselessly.

“9- urk!” Raph tried.

Adam just barely had the time to catch the barbell before it could clank heavily on his plastron. Raph quickly pushed it back to its stand before running after Mickey.

“Eep!”

“Mickey, get back here!”

“No way, bro! You’re just gonna tackle me!” Mickey answered, dashing around the dojo as he desperately tried escaping him.

No problem. I had the same reaction when checking it out, I was actually looking for people's reaction of that trailer's ai mention but the generic chatGPT posts absolutely drowned any possibility of seeing it. Lame.

It's because the new trailer for Tales of the TMNT's animated short just came out and in it, Donatello uses and loves chaptGPT. Bluesky made the association between those two terms and started showing chatGPT stuff. Since there's way more ai stuff than things about Donatello himself, it overtook it.

“This is my song!” Mickey gasped. “Come on everybody, let’s dance!”

“Mickey, get outta da way! ‘M watchin’ here.” Raph yelled back.

“Psh! It’s just for a few minutes.” Mickey waved off. “Don, come ooon, bro!”

He pulled Don away from the couch, holding his hands as he waved them around, his hips following the music’s beat. Don chuckled at his antics.

“Okay, okay, alright.” He quickly relented, starting a robotic dance.

“Psh, ya call that dancing?” Casey accused, jumping to his feet to start from very broken breakdancing. “Now this is dancing!”

“Bro, I bet even Raph could dance better than that.” Mickey told him.

“Ya ain’t gonna get me like -hic!- that.” Raph replied. “I ain’t gonna join ya, y’all look stupid.”

“Pfff, right.” Mickey rolled his eyes. “I bet at least Adam and Leo would come.”

“Leo?” Raph howled. “G’luck with that.”

“Come ooooon.” Mickey begged. He picked up both Adam’s and Leo’s teas, settling them on the table with his own before pushing both turtles to the dance floor. “Let’s dance!”

“U-Uh, no thanks.” Leo politely refused.

Even Mickey’s googly eyes did not convince him otherwise as he only settled on the armchair, making Mickey pout dramatically.

She was until recently when she appeared in a Saturday Morning Adventures comic, which is the 1987 comic that's still releasing new issues to this day. It was a big deal when it was announced that she would finally return after 35 years of absence. Everyone raved about the comic for weeks.

“Sup you guys!” The orange one suddenly greeted as he entered the room. “Look at you, eating all on your own! What a big boy you are!”

Paolo’s tail wagged. He took another bite of his fruit. The orange one took a photo of him.

“Say, are you doing anything with him after his snack?” The orange one asked.

“He’s in ma arms, ain’t he?” The red one replied.

The orange one rolled his eyes. “I mean, do you have anything specific in mind for him?”

“…What’re ya thinkin’?” The red one asked suspiciously.

“Well… April did give us a whole bunch of clothes and stuff… It would go easier to have a photoshoot with someone to help hold him and get him dressed…” The orange one answered.

The red one seemed to consider it for a moment.

“Ya better share them pics with me.” He warned.
